Save Old Oats for Seed Next Season 1934
U S Department of Agriculture specialists advise farmers to hold old oats from the 1932 harvest for seed in 1934. Reports from the oat belt indicate current crop oats are generally poor, especially in the north central region. Seed oats may be scarce next spring, so storing 1932 crop oats could meet demand for quality seed.
