John Clement Schmid, son of C Theo and Mary Ann Schmid, was born July 27 1870 in Elgin and died July 27 1998 in Elgin at age 63. Survived by widow Lula Margaret Lehman Schmid and two children Edward Lehman Schmid and Winifred Lyford, plus his mother Mary Schmid, siblings, four grandchildren, and several relatives.
