Bigler's Sawmill At Clermont Steadily Busy In Fayette County
Fred Bigler runs a long established sawmill in Clermont County that has grown popular with Fayette farmers and timber men. Over the past weeks about forty to fifty loads of logs from local timberlands were converted into roughly 20 000 feet of varied building material. Much of the lumber goes to nearby farms and towns including a prominent barn on W. B. Miller's farm, with Bigler's operation credited for producing over a million feet of hardwood lumber in twelve years and paying thousands to local log owners who supplied timber.
