The Business and Professional Women's Club met at Mrs Grace Simek's home. Ten members attended and Elaine Demo and Celia Morf received birthday songs. After the business session, bridge followed with prizes to Celia Morf and Mrs Louise Miller. Refreshments were served by Agnes, Louise, and Evelyn Bilden. Agnes, Louise, and Evelyn Bilden planned a Cedar Rapids visit.

The Clermont Ladies' Aid Society met March 29 at Mrs. Marjorie Appelman's home with 16 members and 12 guests. They reported a $31.36 food sale and allocated $30 to blood plasma, $5 to Red Cross, and $26 to Schick hospital. A book-mending session was scheduled for April 14 and 35 new books were added to the library. The program included music, a reading, and a paper on gardening and house plants.
