Viola Lewis 79 laid to rest at Eldora funeral
Funeral services for Viola Lewis 79 of Conrad were held Saturday at the Ivester Church of the Bethren near Eldora. She died Wednesday at Marshalltown hospital. Interment followed at East Lawn Memory Gardens Eldora. Lewis born March 22 1898 in Clay City Indiana married twice with four children and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Survivors include four daughters and two sons with extensive extended family.

Funeral services for Sam Ross 82 of Wellsburg were conducted Thursday at the Second Christian Reformed Church. He died Tuesday at Grundy County Memorial Hospital Grundy Center. Interment at Shiloh Cemetery Wellsburg. Surviving family includes daughter Yvonne Sietsema sons Donald and Delbert and several relatives. Galen Wilford Schrock 67 died Monday in Franklin County. Services were held in Dumont on June 8 and at Ivester Church of the Brethren on Thursday with Rev. Alan Kellfaber officiating. Interment was in Sheller Cemetery Grundy County. He was born April 15, 1910, to Clarence E. Schrock of Grundy County. Survivors include his wife Alice, two sons, two daughters, 11 grandchildren, his mother Alma, and siblings.
