Steamboat Pirates posted a five and two season record with wins over Union and New Providence and Wellsburg. Keith De Vries led scoring in several games with 19 and 29 points while Jerry Knight added 12 and 16 points. Radcliffe and Eldora games produced close results and a 47 to 31 loss on the Steamboat floor.
The Rockette Sparks fell to Wellsburg 47 to 46, Radcliffe 27 to 23, and Eldora 50 to 29. Wellsburg top scorers Junker 24 Hippen 15, Steamboat led by Karen Lui ken 20 and Katty Gast 16. Steamboat fouled out two players Mary Lou Hazenwood and Clara Jo Van Hove. Radcliffe Olson 14 led. Eldora Beach 22 Crosley 18. Karen Lui ken 14 and Kitty Gast 8 paced Steamboat.
