The third Hardin County Farm Bureau resolutions committee meeting was held Monday at Eldora with chair Hillis Wilson Iowa Falls and members Mrs Ray Lake Iowa Falls Mrs Alton Powers Hubbard Will Dreier Hubbard and Claus Primus Steamboat Rock. The group is drafting a county questionnaire on national state and local issues for township meetings to shape a bipartisan voice for agriculture. County results will be sent to Des Moines to tabulate with other counties and, after approval, become Iowa Farm Bureau policy for the year. Harold V Snyder of Iowa Falls is Hardin county's voting delegate.

Sunday Travelers Find New Problem
A woman returning to Eldora on a Sunday morning found no station agent on duty. The conductor directed her to claim baggage at the baggage car door. the items were unloaded by train staff. Two other passengers could not reach a taxi due to a closed office, and the first woman agreed to watch their baggage while she phoned for a taxi. The taxi arrived, and all rode to their destinations, though the cosmetics case was left on the train and later needed the owner to claim it on the evening car.
