Safe Robbery Hits W A Lewis Co in Weatherford
Weatherford Texas June 24 Six o clock yesterday morning the safe of W A Lewis and Co was robbed. The robber took the unlocked cash drawer bank pass book several small books a check from Ricker Beardsley of St Louis and 36 dollars and 15 cents in cash. Loss about 857. No clue to the thieves. A large local notice lists residents leaving for El Paso and Cloudcroft for the Fourth of July plans.

Reunion of ex-students of Sam Houston Normal Institute
A reunion was held yesterday afternoon at the county courthouse office to benefit graduates and foster acquaintance. Representatives from nearly all twenty one classes attended. Officers elected to make the organization permanent include H. F. Estill as president, Miss Emma Halley as vice president, and J. T. Valentine as secretary.
