Huntington Dies Suddenly at Camp Pine Knot

Collis Potter Huntington, veteran railway magnate and founder of major lines, died suddenly at his Adirondack summer home Camp Pine Knot after a brief illness. He built the Central Pacific and helped unite the east and west with vast railroad networks. his death follows a day of declining health at Saratoga where doctors failed to revive him. Mrs Huntington is prostrate. burial plans include New York's Fifth Avenue mansion and Woodlawn Cemetery.
