Stevens Memorial Hospital announces a fall schedule of health education and wellness courses. Programs include Introduction To Total Wellness in October, COPING WITH CANCER I Can Cope starting Sept 28, and a Diabetic Classes series beginning Sept 6 with multiple evening sessions and a $15 fee. Sixty two names appear across two tiers with all A students earning a 4.00 average and other honorees scoring 3.5 or better. A Grassroots Media Access Workshop for community organizations and civic groups will be held September 20 at Edmonds Community College. A panel from newspapers and broadcast media will explain how to get coverage and provide examples of public service announcements and press releases. The $15 fee covers a Media Access Guide and directory. The workshop runs 7 p.m. in Mountlake Terrace Hall room 128. Continuing Education provides registration details.
