Hearing on second building permit in slide area postponed
EDMONDS The hearing on a controversial building permit in the Meadowdale slide hazard area was continued to the Jane City Council meeting. It is the second such continuation by the council. John Peck has an appeal pending on his denied permit. Community Services Director Peter Hahn joined the appeal, provoking a challenge to his standing from Thiry’s attorney Kimberlee McDonald. City Attorney Scott Snyder noted continued liberal appeal allowed by the city. Continued on Page 5-A.
