Terrace girls rise atop pre season softball standings
Mountlake Terrace High School girls softball leads the early standings with defense and pitching from Julie Miller and Wendy Turner. A 3-0 win over Ingraham highlighted a strong start as Turner earned the win and Miller and Turner combined on a four hitter. Angie Peterson fueled the offense with key hits and Terrace has yet to allow a run in 14 innings. In other games Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Meadowdale also posted wins as area teams opened the season with solid showings.
