Beasley Named Seattle School Finalist From Edmonds
Hal Beasley, Edmonds School District 15 superintendent, is among six finalists for Seattle school chief succeeding Robert Nelson. The panel narrowed nearly 100 applicants, with interviews to be conducted by the Seattle School Board and advisory group, the final decision due April 1. Beasley is noted for handling enrollment declines and school closures in Edmonds and has 22 years in Seattle before moving to Edmonds.
