Crossing railroad tracks nets $350 fine
Edmonds youths Steve Rose and Carl Potter faced criminal trespass charges after crossing Burlington Northern tracks onto Ocean Avenue on April 5. Rose, 19, received a reduced $150 fine plus court costs totaling $145. Potter paid $185 after his full fine was kept. Police say about a dozen trespass cases have occurred at Ocean Avenue tracks, where signs warn against crossing.
