St Marys Faces Possible Loss of State Aid Over Funding Case
Aylward, of St Mary's, warns that if state funds are not restored, the district or state could decide where the school's students must attend. The issue stems from Cincinnati Board of Education withholding funds over a segregatory act tied to Holy Cross students transferring to St Mary's. Judge Hogan must rule by tomorrow on whether to stay the state board order, while the case risks limiting aid for 52 Holy Cross pupils and affecting transportation and services.
