Victory to Ladybugs Aces Mother's Day Challenge Game
On Saturday April 9 at Hyde Park Plaza the St. Cecilia's Ladybugs defeated the mothers 34 to 4 in a playful charity baseball game. Ladybugs coach Glenn Adkins led a strong fifth and sixth grade squad while mothers captain Mary Ellen Geisman and umpire Jim Foley oversaw a lively if error prone contest. The outcome delighted fans and left the mothers promising a rematch after some rest.
