Frank Causey 37 of Tage Lake was critically injured Tuesday evening in a four vehicle collision near Stafford Sugar Land as a Ford pickup driven by BJ Sherrill tried to pass another truck. Sherrill and his father E L Sherrill were hospitalized in Richmond in critical condition. Causey remains in Polly Ryan Hospital. other occupants escaped major injuries as debris blocked the road.

The Columbus residence of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mikalenka was wrecked by a gas blast at 12 33 a.m. Sunday after the family had left for San Antonio. The force hurled the front door over a fence, toppled brickwork, and damaged garden windows. Fireman G E Crossier was injured by a passing car.
