R F McCord died in Fort Worth last Sunday morning from a stroke and was buried in Masonic Cemetery here on Tuesday December 12. His widow Mrs McCord and family mourn, with services led by Masons and attended by community members. He was born January 20 in Goomwater and moved to West Texas and Fort Worth after marriage to Ailleh Cowper on November 6, 1896. The family previously lived in Bugle Lake and surrounding areas before settling in Fort Worth where he worked in waterworks installation.
