Funeral held 3 pm from her home with Rev W C Barrett. Also noted is the Jenkins family tragedy of Mrs Lester burned to death at 81 near Chatham caused by fall in fire. Ophelia Vickers dies at 62 two miles south of Durham leaving fourteen children fifty two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral at her old home place with family burial.

Major D. H. Hamilton longtime Orange County court clerk died after paralysis struck him two weeks ago. An aged veteran about 70 to 75 years old he left two sons and one daughter. Funeral and burial are scheduled for tomorrow.
