The Charge Fell Through In Parrish Stables Probe
Rev W C Barrett accused a city policeman of drinking at Parrish stables based on information from Reuben Skipp. Chief Freeland had officers line up. Barrett could not identify anyone. Observer Building Fire Claims Deaf Boy in Drama of West Street Blaze
A major blaze at the Observer Building on the third floor destroyed the matrix and fourth stories, killing George Wilson a 15 year old deaf and dumb boy who had been entering the room nightly to sleep. Firefighters stopped the flames by 3 o clock and the loss is estimated at 15000 dollars. Wilson body found near a window after a final search.
