Death of N R Bradshaw on Burch Avenue
After days of illness M R Bradshaw died at his boarding house on Burch avenue due to gastritis. Born in Halifax county Virginia, he moved to Durham years ago and served two years as car dispatcher for the Durham Traction company. He leaves a large family in Virginia and Durham, with a funeral at Main Street Methodist church followed by burial in Maplewood cemetery.

Death of Aged Citizen Marcus Hall at Bahama
Marcus Hall, an aged citizen residing near Bahama, died Sunday evening after a prolonged illness. He passed away around seven o clock. The funeral was held at Mt Bethel church where he was a member, with Rev G W Fisher delivering the service Tuesday at 2. Hall was about 82, having lived in the area most of his life. His wife had died six years earlier and his four sons and other relatives reside nearby, except Cornelia Tilley who lives in the western part of the state. He was a devout Christian and a respected figure with many friends across the county.

Infant dies of cholera infantum on Alston Avenue
Jessie Byrd infant daughter of Mr and Mrs L V Byrd died Wednesday morning at 1 30 at the family home on Alston avenue from cholera infantum. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at eight o'clock from the home with Rev G H conducting services.
