French Revolution and the French Republic critique
The Daily Recorder discusses the French Revolution and its impact on Europe, arguing liberty can degenerate into license, and warning that Grevy's forced resignation signals a danger of parliamentary supremacy eroding executive power. It contrasts Britain’s ceremonial monarch with America’s strong presidential veto as checks on legislature.
