Mulford Winsor acknowledges defeat in the Congressional nomination but pledges to continue fighting for Democratic principles. He commends Arizona Democrats and the progressive constitution, thanks supporters in Yuma County, and vows to justify the public’s confidence as a private citizen and potential future servant.

County saw four Supervisor candidates, nominating Farrell Terrell and Dunn. Mark Smith and Henry Ashurst set to be Arizona's first U.S. Senators.
General Li Yuen Heng, a rebel commander, informs Hankow foreign consuls that he has been proclaimed president of the republic of China. Consuls dispute his orders confiscating contraband ships and his plan for rebels to collect customs at ports they control.

Taxes become delinquent December 18 1911 and a five percent penalty will be added if unpaid. Taxes may be paid at any bank in Greenlee County starting October 15 1911. Signed John M.
