Mormon delegates to attend Arizona fair in Mesa
More than 100 members of the Mormon church from Holbrook area will attend the Mesa fair with about 75 more from the Gila valley towns including Safford and Solomonville. A stake conference in Mesa during fair week will draw delegates from across the state who will also visit the show.

Duncan Lads Start on Long Hike
Yesterday two Duncan boys Ernest Powell about 12 and Teddy Powell about 8 began a foot journey to California. They reached the Summit on the A and N M about 22 miles from Duncan before foreman W L Awbrey found them and ferried them home in his hand car. Their father is in California and the family plans to move there, which sparked the attempt.
