Mrs Anna Martin Dead in Duncan Arizona
Mrs Anna Martin wife of Henry Martin died Monday morning February 5 1912 in Clifton at the Arizona Copper Company hospital after being ill since January 7 1912. Funeral services were held at the Martins home conducted by Rev J Craig Watt and Knights of Pythias acting as honorary bearers. Burial followed in Duncan cemetery. Anna Bunton born April 26 1885 in Kimball County Texas moved to Safford Arizona with her parents in 1889. She married Henry Martin July 8 1905 and leaves a husband an infant son a mother a sister Mrs Chas Tyson Lordsburg and two brothers John and Babe.

District Attorney McAlister Hurt in Runaway
District Attorney McAlister suffered a painful but not serious accident when a horse harness line broke and caused a brief, unremembered fall two miles east of Pima on Wednesday. He was found unconscious near Dave Matthews’ house and received scalp stitches at the Pima Hotel. The buggy and harness had only the broken trace.

Man Dies After 15 Foot Fall on New House Job
John F. Bowman gi carpenter fell from a scaffold fifteen feet high on a new house at Jeenth Avenue and Washington Street January 27th and died January 28th from a broken neck. He leaves a widow and two stepchildren, married five years ago, and who came to Phoenix in 1910. Bowman helped build the Duncan school and Hobbs house and was remembered by friends in Phoenix and Clifton.
