Threatening Letters Sent To Wilson Arrests
In Newark New Jersey on December 11 Peter and Jacob Dunn and Seely Davenport were arrested at Dover charged with writing seven letters signed New York Gang threatening President elect Wilson with death unless $6000 in gold is left at a designated spot. Federal agents traced the clue to north New Jersey hills where Jacob Dunn allegedly fled with an axe as officers closed in. The three men, described as rugged mountaineers with long mustaches, protested ignorance when arraigned before a commissioner.

Murderess is Sentenced to Prison in Logansport
Mrs Joseph Lang, bride of one day, pleaded guilty to shooting Mrs Mary Copple last Tuesday. She was sentenced to two to fourteen years in the Indianapolis women's prison and fined twenty five dollars. Lang claimed Copple called her ugly and that she could have done better in marriage.
