Hanna area residents report visits across Utah and nearby towns. Families from Roosevelt Provo and Salt Lake traveled to Hanna to visit relatives and attend events, with several coordinating hospital and ball game outings and a list of names accompanying each trip.
Mrs Georgia Smith of Salt Lake traveled to Duchenne to spend time with friends over the weekend, including Mr and Mrs Jim Cowan and Mr and Mrs Jack Fitzwater.
The American Legion Auxiliary Altonah Toyack Unit No 53 has exceeded its membership quota by five with 28 members reported. Officers for 1965 66 include Delaine Tidwell president Juanita LaRose first vice president and membership chairman Edna Hartman historian Beverly Fieldstead second vice president and Americanism chairman Lola Jones secretary treasurer Sylvia Bristol past president and chaplain and Mary Dumps sergeant at arms. The Altonah Unit was organized in 1934.
The Myton Lions Club met on January 13 1966 with members including Frank Fowler and Clark Roberts. Jerry Miecure requested transfer to Duchesne Lions as he starts a new newspaper there. Dean Mitchell was admitted as a new member and attendance listed.
