Student of the Month at Duchesne High School
Louise Moon named January Student of the Month at Duchesne High School. Daughter of Elmer and wife Moon, she presides over the DHS student council and serves as vice president of the Associated Student Council of West Duchesne County High Schools. Mormon Mission Assignments Reach New York Area
Elder and Mrs Marvel L Moore are assigned to Wellsville New York for a short term mission in the Duchesne Second Ward. They arrived January 18 after travel from Duchesne with Mr and Mrs Heber Day of Salt Lake City. The Days and Moores journeyed toward the Cumorah Mission area about 400 miles from Wellsville. Other ward Relief Society changes are listed. A Duchesne Second Ward Boy Scouts court of honor is set for February 20 at the Duchesne Stake Center with district leaders and commissioners named.
