Duchesne County Health Drive to Resume February
The Duchesne County health program restarts in February with a federally funded clinic to run through June 30. A no-cost public session at the Roosevelt First Ward House on February 10 invites residents to discuss weed control, new chemicals, and county and state efforts.

Sweetheart Queen Contest at Duchesne High School Crowning
The Sweetheart Queen of DHS 1966 will be announced Saturday February 5 during a crowning at the Sweetheart Ball in the new Duchesne High School gym. Rex Harrison leads the Sophomore Class with Sally Wimmer as queen contest chairwoman and Michele Firewater to crown the 1966 winner. Walter Martin and his Tune Toppers Orchestra provide music from the Roosevelt area. admission is 75 cents for stages and extra ladies, $1.50 for couples. The 1966 winner will advance to the Uintah Basin Sweetheart Contest on February 12 at Duchesne High School.
