The Myton nine won decisively in the fifth Mutual League game at Myton, 17 to 11 over Montwell, after leading 17-4 at eight innings. Joe Urisk and Weldon Linghnan starred, with strong pitching by Bob Colorow and Lott. The citizens of Myton were shocked to learn that Rev. Stanley A. Parker died aboard a Dayton Ohio bound train en route to Salida Colorado for burial. The longtime pastor of the Myton church had health struggles recently and passed after heart trouble aboard a passenger car. He is survived by his widow Belle Rogers Parker and a son Alfred Parker and a daughter Mia Dorothy Parker MacSwain. Reverend Parker had served four and a half years in Myton and was esteemed for his conscientious life and devotion to duty.
