Troop Movements Reported From Louisville to Indianapolis
From the Chivage Journal dated September a0 reports a large troop movement up the river from Viehnburg and through Louisville toward the south. Indianapolis hosts about 20 000 arriving soldiers from the East in past day. Word says Piehting Joe Hooker may soon command the consolidated force as troops shuttle by rail under high alert.
