Singing Group Holds Meeting At Howard Grove Church
A Howard Grove Church gathering led by N Sheppard held a singing event with a temporary arranging committee of Y L Webb G H Jordan and Jones. Region leaders included A C Womack W Scott Dewitt Guy ALL Mc Dorald and George Wood with Mrs Ruby Nobles as organist. Officers elected Oliver Ingram president A L McDonald vice president Charlie Moody secretary treasurer Noah Sheppard chaplain and Mrs Mabie Clemmons pianist. Finance and executive committees were named with Mrs John B Parson Mrs Ray Snell and A C Womack on finance and Mr Knight Jim Griffin Noah Sheppard and G H Jordan on the executive committee. A quartet by Lester Kight Jesse Culbreth A Womack and Mrs Clyde Culbreth. afternoon leaders included J E Capps J L Halstead Jesse Culbreth M Knight Jammie Griffin A C G Womack A Lo McDonald Jesse Griffin Wallace Paul M Eugie Clemmons Devt Guy W M Scott and M L Knight.
