Novel by former Dothanian reviewed by critic
A Birmingham News review notes Welburn Kelley, a former Dothan youth, wrote Inchin' Along. Born in Dothan, Kelley left for New York to pursue newspaper work, now publishing his first novel Kin' Alona amid Gulf swamps and Bas Mabe. The piece highlights Kelley's rise and themes involving Dr. Besste and a dramatic brutal scene.
