The Lafayette Street Methodist church group met Tuesday night at West Newton street home of Mrs. Long. Miss Clytela Riley led a devotional before prayer. Members discussed church matters and Mrs. Howell Coe presented the last two chapters from The Prayer Book. Lemonade and sandwiches followed for Myra Ennis, Laura Jean McGowan, Civtele Riley, Willie Jim Faircloth, Monette Kirkland, Grace Lane, Effile Cain, Mrs. Howell Coe, and families M. Ll. Hanahan Sr. and LaBruce Hanahan, who will attend the Auburn-Southern game tonight.
