Miss Wicksburg will be chosen Wednesday afternoon at a pageant in Wicksburg school. The winner will compete in the Peanut Festival opening night on October 2. A Montgomery band from Maxwell Field plans to march in the October 23 parade in Dothan. City Recorder’s Court will meet at 4 p.m. tomorrow due to the judge’s absence. A Dothan taxi cab struck a mule on Highway 231 last night, killing the animal. no charges were filed.
