Boswell and Reeves Clash Over Prison Staff Quality
In Montgomery AP dispatch, State Prison Director Frank Boswell partially disagrees with Warden B R Reeves of Draper Prison who urged a higher type of personnel for Alabama prisons. Boswell says Reeves overstated and notes some staff are as capable as elsewhere while conceding needs for better, younger guards and acknowledging occasional betrayals. The exchange follows comments made December 4 in Graceville.

He calls scouting his main hobby and enjoys hunting and horseback riding. The text also notes efforts against rat destruction with proposed materials like ceramic tile, and mentions about 100,000 automobiles in Mexico.
