Enterprise Rotary Holds Weekly Meet

The Enterprise Rotary Club met at Rawls Hotel with J Bayes of Coffee County High School speaking on juvenile delinquency. County Agent Hugh Bexton reported 50 prisoners of war work on 35 farms in Coffee County and a Chamber of Commerce barbecue was announced for Friday night at 7 at the armory.

War Prisoners Aid Farmers In Coffee County

Twenty five crews of German prisoners are now at work in fields of Coffee County. The crews are composed of ten to twenty men each, assigned to farms as needed to shake and stack peanuts. County Agent Hugh D. Sexton issued the following rules to staff and farmers for the program.
