Poisoned meal sickens thirteen at farm near Puryear
Thirteen residents at a farm gathering near Puryear were poisoned after a cook used a bag of insecticide powder as flour in chicken and pie crusts. Five remained bedridden. others recovered. Dr A F Paschall reported the incident as a noonday dinner accident tied to a Crank home bag found emptied.

Suit challenges TVA creation in Alabama power dispute
