Houston county board of revenue failed to elect a supervisor for the district almshouse plans. Harry K. Martin was nominated but died for want of a second. Architects presented court house renovation plans. one set rumored favored, but no action taken. The board authorized buying pipe for district use and awarded a medical scholarship to Aubrey Huskey of Dothan. Routine claims and business completed the meeting.

Two Killed In Wreck At Troy

Roy Barabee and his six year old son Roy Jr died from injuries after a collision near Spring Will. Barabee’s wife suffered a fractured skull while a four year old boy named Jemes had serious bruises and an arm injury. Driver J. Last Rites For L. B. Hallman This Afternoon

Funeral services for L B Hallman a prominent Dothan automobile dealer will be held this afternoon at 4 80 at his residence with Dr H C officiating assisted by Rev J W Budd and J F McLeod. Burial will be in City Cemetery with Fellows Forrester in charge. Hallman 44 years old and a longtime Dothan resident died from a gunshot at his home on South Oates Street.
