War Bonds Drive Supports Third War Loan Drive
Citizens urged to invest in U S government securities during the third war loan drive. Options include Series E savings bonds with 4 to 3 return, 2.9 percent interest, denominations from 28 to 1000 dollars, redeemable 60 days after issue. Also 244% Treasury bonds 1969, redeemable at par plus accrued interest, denominations up to 1,000,000 dollars. Other offerings include Series C notes, 14 percent certificates, 2 percent bonds, and Series F and G savings bonds.
