Resignation of May Arcebra as director and closure of the Dothan branch laboratory prompt Houston County Medical Society to plan reestablishment. Physicians in Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston Counties urged to attend Friday meeting.
Roy Kingry thirty three, former Houston County resident, died in a Dothan hospital this morning from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on the Dothan Graceville highway about five weeks ago. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Roy Jr and Rex, all of Graceville, his parents C. L. and Mrs. Kingry of Taylor, and four brothers J C Kingry of Graceville, C L Kingry Jr of Cottondale, W C Kingry and Sam H Kingry of Taylor. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Johnson Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Dothan Recruiting Office officials received a short reply to a veterans outreach letter urging reenlistment. A former soldier sent back a single line endorsement reading I ain't interested, reflecting limited interest in continuing service in the peace time Army.

Mrs E A Threadgill of Troy died in a Troy hospital after a brief illness. Funeral is set for 3 30 p m today in Troy. She is survived by her husband and a son Ernest Threadgill in the U S Army. The Threadgill home burned Monday afternoon and she was treated for shock at the hospital.
A folk dance class for Scouts and Brownies of Dothan Girl Scout troops will be held at the Dothan Recreation Center Thursday afternoon from five o clock. Miss Gwen Stephenson, Girl Scout Executive, announced today. Included in the program are Ach Ya a German folk dance Jensie Crack Corn English and Oh Susans American.

Funeral services for Tom Lindsey of Geneva route one were held Sunday at Hurricane Creek church following his death Saturday evening in Enterprise Hospital after a brief illness.
