Miss Harlot Boyd will be guest of Misa Winnell Lane at the University of Alalana Homecoming this weekend. G R Robertson will attend and accompany Mrs Tebert Penty to her home in Greenville, Miss. Robertson has been visiting her parents Mr and Mrs Livenby for several days. Tom Tass and Billy Bailey attend. Joe Coming at the University this weekend. Porter Grant and Thin Tuva, Aubury students, will spend weekend in Dothan. Mrs A Hecock of Mottcemen is visiting with her mother. A Hobertany and Mr and Mrs T N Patter of Clayton will be Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs Julian Hall. Gentey and Miss Mary Bentley spent today in Troy.

Musical program at Lafayette Street Methodist Church

A Sunday night program at Lafayette Street Methodist Church features organist Mrs MoD Womack, choir director Mr Troy Lewis, and M. D Womack with a full orchestral prelude and a sequence of hymns, solos, and a benediction. The program includes The Iron Count overture, Rejoice The Lord Is King, The Lord Is My Light, Liebestraum, The Lost Chord, and Marching To Zion among others.

Faithful Followers Sunday School class of First Baptist Church hosted a Halloween social Friday night at Mrs E E Jones home on South Oates Street. Miss Very Myrile Beasley led games and contests. light refreshments followed. Guests for refreshments included Dr L W Dockery and others. members listed include Margaret Jones Ruth Dockery Violet Bruce Helen Warrick and several more. Dothan Study Club met Friday afternoon at the Country Club hosted by Mrs O S Lewis with program on Roman Women and Cleopatra. several club members attended.

Halloween Social At Ala th ean Sunday School Class

The Ala thean sixpay school class held a Halloween social at Mrs W Johnsons on S Oates Street. Decorations featured ghosts witches and jack o lanterns. Guests wore costumes and included Mrs Henry Witherington Mrs H G Forrester Miss Dora Cook Miss Frances Whiggam Miss Ruth Hamden and many others. A bonfire and toasted marshmallows followed a Chamber of Horrors tour with Bluebeards Wives.
