Mrs. Cellie Harrison died after a lingering illness at her son’s Bethany home. She was widow of W. J. Harrison, longtime farmer and Bethany Baptist Church member. Survived by four children and many grandchildren. Funeral at Bethany Baptist Church with burial nearby. officiants were Revs. Bush and Parker.

Funeral rites for Earl Peters of Daleville and Dothan will be held today at 2 PM at Pantioe Creek Church Buna. Surviving relatives include wife Bernice Peters and children Jimmie, Randolon, and several brothers and sisters. The service will be conducted by Rev. Ramagy Peters with burial at Joboxe and Wilkerson Home Cemetery. Numerous relatives and friends across Daleville, Dothan, and Slocomb are expected.
Mrs Mattee Tharpe age 35 died Saturday at her Blue Springs home after a long illness. Funeral services were held yesterday at 10 a.m. at Sikes Creek Church with burial in the church cemetery. Surviving are husband DF Tharpe, a daughter Eline Frances, two sons Davi Edward and Asy Howard Tharp, all of Blue Springs.
