Oil shale study details plant projects and by products
A reported byproduct of shale oil work is Tropic plants grown under intense heat. Swedish experts say soil warmth could allow exotic vegetation to thrive for years in northern climates. Research funds allocate 500000 for a Wyoming lab and 1500000 for a demonstration plant at Anvil Points near Rifle Colorado. Oil yield expected 10 to 65 gallons per ton with Rifle mine capable of 15000 to 20000 tons daily.
