Wellman's Trip Gives Him Hopes
Walter Weilman and the America expedition crew were saved at sea 160 miles east of Cape Hatteras. They aboard the steamship Trent after a three day endurance flight set a new dirigible sea passage record, about 72 hours aloft and roughly a thousand miles over rough seas. The Trent aided by rescuing the crew amid heavy fog as details of the dramatic lifeboat incident circulated.

Eufaula City Moves to Repeal Prohibition Laws
