Wellman's Trip Gives Him Hopes
Walter Weilman and the America expedition crew were saved at sea 160 miles east of Cape Hatteras. They aboard the steamship Trent after a three day endurance flight set a new dirigible sea passage record, about 72 hours aloft and roughly a thousand miles over rough seas.
