Florence Alabama October 20 William Vaughn 27 a negro arrested in New Madrid Missouri in connection with the slaying of Albn Reynolds October 6 was returned to Florence and jailed awaiting a murder hearing. Vaughn had been at Kilby Prison for a two year term for larceny and left the state after the stabbing. He waived extradition when arrested while working with others from Florence.
