Woman Killed in Tennessee Crash Near Gallatin
A car plunged into a dry creek bed four miles north of Gallatin Tennessee killing 37 year old Myrtle Cargen of Elizabethtown Kentucky. Three companions were injured as the sedan rolled over. Fire damages vacant house on S Apple Tree Street
A fire lightly damaged a vacant house in the 606 block of S Apple Tree Street early Sunday, with roof and one room burned. Firefighters also battled a second blaze when a short circuit ignited the battery cable of J F Patterson’s motor car at 316 Newton Street, but damage remained confined to the vehicle.
