Alabama War Officer Is Found Murdered

In Oak Falls Alabama a 22 year old second lieutenant Naomi Kathleen Cheney of the Women's Army Corps is found dead near a railroad overpass. She was assistant personnel officer at the radio school and had recently visited a WAC colleague in the hospital. A struggle was reported at the scene. Landlords must file with the area rent office within thirty days of renting housing not previously registered or face refunds to tenants any rent charged above the maximum set by OPA.
