Race Horse Lucky Mistake Moves Through Dothan Today
A 17 year old mering horse named Lucky Mistake, owned by W. E Salth of Evansville Indiana, passed through Dothan today on a truck bound for Rambo Lumber Co near Five Points after a run from Evansville. The horse won the Nashville Derby, the Three Quarters Race in Nashville, and the Little Rock Derby last fall. Mr. Smith said Lucky Mistake and the horse will head north again next spring.

Barn Fire Destroys John Spooner Farm South Of Cowarts
A barn and contents burned on the John Spooner farm four miles south of Cowarts with an estimated loss of 1500 dollars. A horse, three cows, feed and six bales of cotton also burned. Insurance on Read the Claselfieq Ada was 400 dollars. Origin of the fire unknown. Miss Frances Nimmo Greene Becomes Hostess At University of Alabama Theta Chi House. She continues teaching playwriting and short stories in Birmingham while remaining linked to Tuscaloosa. Damage suits withdrawn against Moody hospital noted
Attorneys for the plaintiffs said last week in The Beagle that damages totaling 65 000 were withdrawn and no new action was taken. The suits filed by Mrs Minnie Lee Thompson and her husband Emmett J Thompson were not dismissed but withdrawn from court action.
