Palmdale California AP reports Dr H H Snook owner of Palm Gale Hospital says he operated on a 56 year old woman and removed a calcified fetus she had carried for 18 years. X rays showed a nonuterine fetus in the pelvic abdominal region. The operation October 23 involved a laparotomy similar to a caesarean. The patient is in good health and the fetus will likely be given to a medical school.
